One of the reasons Iranians have chanted “Death to Israel” is because the Israeli government assisted Iraq’s Saddam Hussein (which the Israelis admit) in horrific war-crimes against Iran during a war started by Iraq (then an American ally) that claimed approximately one million lives. Victor Ostrovsky, a former Senior Mossad Case Officer openly admits that Israel worked behind-the-scenes to ensure that Saddam’s military killed Iranians, destroyed Iranian property, and that the Iraq/Iran War dragged on for as long as possible.
Over 1,000,000 men, women and children died after Saddam Hussein attempted to annex South-Western Iran in the 1980s in a war that dragged on for over 8 years. The war included the use of chemical weapons by Saddam Hussein against civilian Iranian populations and Iraqi-Kurds (who are by ethnicity an Iranian people). Israel used the change in Iran’s government to kill Iranians and destroy Iranian property: The slogan “Death to Israel” in Iran partially originates from Israel’s completely unprovoked war crimes against Iran. The Iranian government was new at the time when Israel engaged in this misconduct. It is not at all surprising that Iranians came to view Israel in a highly negative light. The mainstream news (which has a highly pro-Israel bias) generally avoids reminds the public of these facts, including the admissions of Israeli Mossad officer Victor Ostrovsky.

Not all Iranians chant death to Israel. It is only crazy brainwashed idiots who do so. Today, we Iranians wish to live harmoniously with our Israeli brothers and sisters.
The Iranians that like Israel are a handful of traitors to the entire Iranian nation (usually members of the terror group MEK). If you made that same statement in Iran, the Iranian people would show how much they dislike Israel. And Israel hires militant jews and Baha’is to go around the internet to give the false image and pretend that Iranians like Israel. Iranians do not like Israel, and for good reason: Nobody should like some apartheid country that kills children and steals their land. There is nothing remotely Iranian about you or your comment.
Before my visit to Iran last year, I saw khamenei chanting death to America and Israel, but during my trip to Iran, 90% of people I met said they love America and wish to escape Iran there. There was some controversy over Israel, but majority of people said that Persians and Jews have a long history back to when Darius freed the Jews. They said that the shah was friends with Israel and they have no reason to hate. Things like Qods day are not Persian at all. Qods is Arabic and its Islamic connection to Iran is not Persian.
As for killing children and stealing their land, I must assume you’re referring to Palestine. Firstly it defeats the purpose to hate a country for hating another country. If Palestine were a Christian country, would you still care about the occupation? Even Palestinians themselves that I have met say that you cannot blame Israel as a whole. Mossad and the Israeli government ARE terrorists, that I agree with. But that doesn’t mean that every single person in Israel is the same. Just like Iran, the Islamic Republic is very religious and strict to Islam. But that doesn’t mean that every Iranian supports them.
Jews always try to say they have a “history” with everyone. They say this everywhere they go: they say the same to Kurds, Armenians, Turks, etc. etc. … that line of argument doesn’t work. Moreover, it was Cyrus not “Darius” that freed Jews, but he didn’t tell them to oppress Palestinians, take their land, and kill their children. Secondly, Israel is an apartheid state – no sane Iranian (or other person in the world) cares for this and the overwhelming majority of Iranians are against Israel, and for good reason.
The views you are putting out there are just propaganda talking points – They would never work in Iran; they don’t even work in the West.
The views and behaviors of Israel towards Iran are clear – Israel has solidified its reputation as an enemy country. It’s a stain that it will not be able to wash.
